Unit 2 – The million Euros I found: Step 1

Task 1
Read the story of the lottery-ticket
I am playing a ball game with my friends in the neighbourhood. One of my friends hits the ball very hard and out of the park. I run after the ball and find it in a yard close to my playground. When I pick up the ball, I discover a piece of paper on the ground with lots of numbers . Some numbers are ticked off and the heading reads «million-euro-lottery». «Hey, what takes you so long? Come back with the ball, we want to play!» shouts one of my friends. I put the piece of paper in my pocket and rejoin my friends on the playground. We play, laugh and have a good time together the whole afternoon.
On my way home in the evening I pass by a kiosk with a poster that reads «million-euro-lottery: winning numbers of this week». I take the paper out of my pocket and compare the numbers on the poster with those on the lottery ticket I found. I then realize that these are the exact same numbers! «Wow, if I cash in this ticket at the bank, I will receive one million Euros!».
- What would you do with all that money? Imagine how this story goes on...
