Unit 3 – Fair for all of us: Step 1

Task 1

Read the set of rules:

  1. Everyone shall wear blue shoes on Sunday.
  2. The state has the duty to offer children free education in schools.
  3. No man or woman with blue eyes is allowed to use public transportation.
  4. No woman should be allowed to wear a Niqab in public.
  5. All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.
  6. Everyone shall be paid the same salary regardless of their occupation.
  7. Everyone has the right to live freely on the moon.
  8. The state has the duty to provide everyone with at least five hours of sunshine a day.
  9. Everyone shall have the right to express his/her opinion freely.
  10. Only Buddhists shall be allowed to convert to other religions.
  11. No one shall be allowed to use the computer at night.
  12. Every girl shall receive at least six years of education, every boy shall receive at least nine years of education.
  13. The state has the duty to provide health services to every person.
  14. The state has the duty to provide clean drinking water for free for everybody.
  15. Every child shall receive a camel at birth.
  16. No woman should be allowed to wear bikinis or another kind of revealing swimming dress at the public beach or at public swimming pools.
  17. Every man has the duty to grow a moustache.
  18. No one shall be subject to torture or cruel punishment.
