Task 1

Read the statements

First read through the statements of “What a friend is…” and think if you agree or disagree.

List of sentences:

  • A friend helps me when I am sick.
  • A friend borrows my things without asking.
  • A friend is someone I can fight with.
  • A friend enjoys the same things I enjoy.
  • A friend makes me do things I do not want to do.
  • A friend helps me when I am in trouble.
  • A friend is someone with whom I can share secrets.

Task 2

Sort the sentences

  • Drag the sentences with which you agree into the blue box and those with which you disagree into the beige box.
  • The result will not be saved. If you like you can also take a screen shot.

Task 3

Present a group poster

Come together in a group of four.

  • Share your “agree-“ and “disagree-sentences”.
  • Write out the sentences with which you all agree on a poster.
    • Discuss other things you all agree on about what a friend is.
    • You can add this finding to your poster.
  • Present your poster to the group.
