Task 1

Write about your daily routine

Think of your day from morning to evening. What kinds of activities do you perform to keep yourself clean?

  • Take a piece of paper and describe which part of your body you wash or clean and on which occasion.
    • Think of all occasions when you wash or clean yourself.
    • Start your description with what you do, when you get up in the morning.
    • Go through your day. When do you shower? When do you wash your hands.
    • Do you brush your teeth twice a day?
    • How often do you wash your face? When?

Task 2

Group the symbols

  • Look at the symbols below.
  • Arrange the symbols into groups.
  • Try to find an effective order by grouping body parts and appropriate washing/cleaning tools together.
  • Take a screenshot of your order.
  • You can do the activity with a partner or alone.

Task 3

Write some sentences

Use the symbols from above and state in complete sentences what you wash, in which situation and why.

  • Write your sentences into the text box below. Here is an example:
    • I take a shower with water and soap every evening, because then I smell nice.
  • Count how many sentences you wrote.
  • If you are in a group: Has someone written down more sentences?
    • Discuss together which grooming activities you find the most important and explain why.
