Unit 1 – Dealing with different emotions: Step 3
Task 1
Think thoroughly of a situation where you experienced a problem and felt strong emotions
- Choose a situation that involved at least one other person.
- Describe your strongest emotion? Write it down on a slip of paper.

Task 2
Sit in a group of people
- Mix the slips of paper.
- One person after another draws a slip of paper and acts out the emotion (no speaking!).
- Can your colleagues guess which emotion is portrayed?
- Think about situations where you might feel this emotion. This could involve any situation or the one you had in mind.
- Discuss how people might feel differently in the same situation.
Task 3
Think about your initial situation and how you felt
- Write a short text about the situation and how you felt.
- Change the perspective and describe the same situation the way another person might have experienced it. How did she or he feel?
