Unit 3 – Rules help us to live together: Step 1

Task 1

The rules of your country

  • Think about the rules involving a traffic light. What other traffic rules do you know?
  • What rules do you know that apply in the country where you currently reside?
    • What are you allowed to do? (green)
    • What are you allowed to do, depending on the situation? (orange)
    • What should you never do? (red)
  • Write down the answers on a sheet of paper.

Task 2

Assign these rules to the appropriate color

  • Drag these rules into the appropriately colored box.
    • You find the code of the colors in «Task 1».
    • The result will be saved. If you like you can also take a screen shot.
  • Discuss your result with someone else. Did your partner find the same solution?

Task 3

Rules of your community

  • Think about three rules that should be applicable in a community (like your class, your home etc.).
    • Write them down on a sheet of paper. Also specify to which community your rules apply.
    • Discuss your rules with a colleague or a member of your family.
  • Have your rules changed? Maybe additional rules have occurred to you?
    • Revise your rules if necessary.
    • Take a photo if you wrote your rules on a sheet of paper.

Task 4

Share your rules!

  • Share your rules from «Task 3» in the discussion group below.
  • Read through the rules shared by your colleagues. Indicate one or several rules that you consider important and vote for them.
