Thinking of examples of discrimination

  • Imagine specific examples of discrimination. Create a collection.
  • You can draw your examples on a piece of paper, have your colleagues depict a situation of discrimination while you take a picture of it.

There are different strategies to cope with discrimination. Below we offer seven of them:

Focus on your strengths.
Seek support systems.
Get involved.
Help yourself think clearly.
Don't dwell.
Seek professional help.
Stand up for yourself.

  • Think about your examples of discrimination in «Task 2». Which strategies would you pursue?
  • Sort the strategies below according to which ones you find most useful (7) to the least applicable ones (1).
