Welcome to the Teaching English Toolbox!
This toolbox is meant as support to help you delve deeper into topics around teaching English to children in public schools who are already literate in the local language of instruction, where foreign languages start when they are 9 or 10 years old. This toolbox provides an overview of the main content points taught in the PHZH’s Teaching English courses with questions for discussion, examples, and additional resources. It can be used for independent study and readings or for in-class discussion and reflections. Use the navigation on the left to guide your visit through the various content points. Use the "Test Yourself" questions at the bottom of most pages to help you study for any exams or to go deeper into the discussion of how to best teach English as a Foreign Language.
